- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪These vets do not approach with the experience of a common-sense approach to what proved to be a simple common ailment. They ran up a bill of hundreds of pounds whilst my cat was still suffering. I paid up and found another vet who immediately prescribed treatment at a tenth of the price . I was told by a Burghfield vet their philosophy is to test in order to diagnose.. plausible maybe but when i questioned their over testing they said i should not have a cat or get insurance ... (a separate issue to running up a massive bill for individuals or insurance companies for what turns out to be a a simple problem. They criticised me for questioning the bill that was hundreds of pounds and no treatment plus wanting to carry further tests!!
